Dr Stone is set in a post-apocalyptic world where a mysterious phenomenon petrified everyone. Years later, the humans who woke up must restart humanity. This science-fiction anime brings back the Stone Age in the coolest way possible. The anime is based on the manga written and written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi. The manga was published by Shueisha and serialized in the Weekly Shounen Jump.

Dr Stone Special Episode PV
On 19 December 2021, TOHO Animations updated their fans with the newest PV of Dr Stone announcing a special episode. The OVA will be titled ‘Dr. Stone: Ryusui’ and it will centre around Ryusui Nanami.
The PV also reveals that Ryōta Suzuki (v.a of Yu Ishigami in the Kaguya Sama series) will voice Ryusui Nanami in the upcoming OVA.
In addition to the PV, the Dr Stone special episode announcement was also accompanied by a teaser.
Dr Stone Season 3 and OVA Release Date
During the Jump Festa 2022 event, vague release dates of the upcoming Dr Stone anime projects were revealed. As per the most recent update, Dr Stone season 3 will premiere in 2023. Dr Stone: Ryusui will premiere in July 2022. The special episode takes place after the events of season 2.
