The release of the medical K-drama, Dr. Romantic Season 3 episodes 1 and 2 has been disclosed, and the fans of the series cannot contain their excitement. Usually, K-dramas do not renew for a second season. It is on a very rare occasion that they are renewed. Dr. Romantic is one of those rare Korean dramas which is even getting a third season.
Since the release of its first season on November 7, 2016, the K-drama has received immense love and viewership from viewers all over the world. Synopsis of Dr. Romantic Seasons 1 & 2
The first season of Dr. Romantic revolved solely around Boo Yong-Joo, who is the only surgeon in South Korea who holds certification in general surgery, neurosurgery, and cardiac surgery, together. He remains employed at the premier hospital in Seoul as his career keeps flourishing. Sadly, his happy days come to an end when a terrible incident involving the death of his junior causes a shift in his life. After a while, he starts working at a small hospital in Gangwon Province called Doldam under the identity of Kim Sa Bu.
The second season of Dr. Romantic continues Kim Sa Bu’s story leaping over three years. After three years, he enters Geosan University Hospital. On entering the hospital, he hires Seo Woo Jin and Cha Eun Jae, two troubled doctors who were sacked for doing the ideal things during their employment days.
The second season ended with Cha Eun Jae regaining her confidence thanks to Kim Sa Bu’s constant assistance, and Seo Woo Jin resigning from the hospital for Kim Sa Bu’s safety. Therefore, the season did not have any open ends. So, it will be interesting to see what season 3 of Dr. Romantic has in store for the audience.

Dr. Romantic Season 3 has managed to bring in the same set of protagonists, who were in the previous two seasons as well. The actors had carried out their characters very well in the past, which increased their number of fans.

Dr. Romantic Season 3 episodes 1 & 2 will be released on April 28, 2023, and April 29, 2023, respectively, at 10:00 PM KST (Korea).
