Dr. Dre recently made an exciting announcement on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that Eminem is gearing up to drop a new album later this year. Sitting alongside Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent, Dre revealed that Slim Shady himself gave the green light for the announcement.
“Eminem is working on his own album which is coming out this year,” Dre declared during the show. He expressed his enthusiasm for the project, mentioning his involvement in some of the tracks, promising it’s going to be fire.
Dre admitted that even he hasn’t heard the entire album yet, highlighting Eminem’s secretive approach to his music.
Despite Eminem’s usual discretion with his music, Dre assured fans that he’s hands-on with the project and eagerly anticipates hearing the album in its entirety.
This revelation came as a pleasant surprise to fans eagerly awaiting new material from the rap icon. The newest revelation has already taken social media by storm.
Eminem’s last album, “Music to Be Murdered By,” dropped in January 2020, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Its deluxe version, “Music to Be Murdered By – Side B,” arrived in December 2020, featuring 16 new songs and reigniting interest in the album with a strong chart performance.
