Doraemon 2019 Film Reveals Visual And Cast

Doraemon is a common name in every household mainly because almost every one of us has watched the robotic cat and the procrastinating Nobita while growing up. It is a great series for any young kid. Doraemon is launching its 39th film soon. The staff of Eiga Doraemon no Nobita no Getsumen Tansaki (Doraemon the Movie: Chronicle of the Moon Exploration) revealed the second trailer for the film along with a poster visual.

The trailer also previews Dai Hirai’s theme song “The Gift.” The trailer also revealed the additional cast for the movie.

The film will open in Japan on March 1. The story of the movie is related to popular Japanese folklore which states that a rabbit lives on the moon. The film is set on the moon, and it centers on strong friendships. Luna is a mysterious girl who lives on the moon. Diabolo and his subordinate Goddard block the path of Nobita and his friends on their adventure on the moon.

The movie will be directed by Shinnosuke Yakuwa (Doraemon the Movie: Nobita and the Birth of Japan 2016, Doraemon the Movie: Nobita in the New Haunts of Evil – Peko and the Five Explore). Midzuki Tsujimura, who is a Naoki Prize-winning author is working on the script. She is also writing a novel adaptation, which will debut on November 16. The theme song “The Gift,” is being performed by Dai Hirai.

Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Takarajima (Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Treasure Island), the 38th movie in Doraemon franchise opened on March 3. The film also became the highest-grossing anime in the current 13-installment Doraemon film series. It crossed the 4 billion yen mark. It earned 44 billion yen (about US$41.5 million) in 32 days. The anime had earned more than 4.88 billion yen (about US$45.58 million) and sold around 4,282,000 tickets as of April 8.
