Doom Patrol Season 3 Episode 4 will mark the actual beginning of what this new season is all about. Up till now, the first three episodes were all of the fill-ins for what the second season left behind. It all summed up in the third episode. Larry and Dorothy had almost lost the only family they knew. They were quite heartbroken to see the corpses of all their friends. But it wasn’t too late as Larry thought Rita somehow was trying to make a connection. So he brought in two people who know all about the afterlife.
Meanwhile, back in the afterlife, Cliff, Jane, and Vic met some familiar faces who gave them a much-needed guide. Rita on her hand never went unconscious and came across someone who knows her. As this went on, Larry and Dorothy with the help of Dead Boy Detectives made a much-needed contact with her and finally tracked her down. But the afterlife came with its own dangers which even Dead Boy Detectives are afraid of. So did Larry and Dorothy managed to rescue their friends. Let’s find out.
Doom Patrol Season 3 Episode 3 Recap
Previously on Doom Patrol Season 3, we open up with Cliff, Rita, Jane, and Vic on their way to the afterlife on the boats. Before they could reach their destination, every one of them except Rita falls unconscious. Their soul leaves their body. Hoping not to get caught, Rita pretends to pass out to see a creature carrying her inside. Meanwhile, back at home, Larry wakes up to see four boxes on the doorstep of the house. Each one of them contains the corpses of his friends leaving him heartbroken.
As Larry breaks down, he decides to bandage his friends and put them on the dinner table. Thus hoping there is still a way out of this. But it’s Dorothy who had to point out that it seems kinda creepy. Anyway, back to Cliff, Jane and Vic, well they find their souls in some sort of another world. There they get a chance to meet some of their loved ones all over again. An apology session and a feeling of reconnection are felt as these souls guide them to their forever.

Larry meanwhile hires the Dead Boy Detectives Charles Rowland and Edwin Payne with their medium Crystal to help. With them, Larry is able to contact a still conscious Rita, and Edwin figures out that they are still in processing. There is a way to save them. Although they initially denied it, The Dead Boy Detectives agree to take Larry into the afterlife as Dorothy manages to convince Crystal. Cliff, Vic, and Jane soon wake up and fight off the watchers and soon come across Larry and Dead Boy Detectives.
A minion of death cuts the reunion. She makes Charles and Edwin worry as they don’t seem to have a good history together. With the help of a soul who knows Rita. The group marks their escape to the real world. Dorothy believes with the help of Dead Boy Detectives, she may find her father and leaves the mansion for a while. The episode closes in with Madam Rogue coming down from the mansion with everyone questioning who is she.
Doom Patrol Season 3 Episode 4 Release Date & Spoilers
Doom Patrol Season 3 Episode 4 is releasing on 30 September 2021. It is titled, “Undead Patrol”. Also, there are no official details on what the episode could be about. The only thing we have is a promo for it right now and Madam Rogue’s appearance towards the end of the previous episode. From the promo of Doom Patrol Season 3 Episode 4, it seems Madam Rogue has already called in trouble.
A realm of Undead Patrol is something we will be witnessing. Furthermore, she has motives of her own to have time-traveled her way here to prevent a certain event. She also requires Doom Patrol in the same process. So the coming episode 4 will actually mark the beginning of the bigger plot of Doom Patrol Season 3, a time travel one especially.
