Dr. In Ho gets drunk and admits Jung Sook as his wife. Everyone present gets shocked by this sudden disclosure. So Ra saw the birthday video on Jeong Min’s phone and was stunned to know the truth. There is an emergency pregnancy case, and Jung Sook delivered the baby successfully.
Jung Sook is thankful to Dr. Roy for hiding the truth for days. He counsels her to speak out. She finds it difficult because she puts her children before herself as a mother. Sung Hee is having a hard time because of stress. Her daughter is more mature than her age and admits that she doesn’t need a father. Sung Hee plans to return to the US.
Jung Sook admits to all the gossip because of last night’s incident. The team returns to Seoul after completing the volunteering work in the countryside. Jung Sook asked In Ho about the real reason behind his disclosure. He says it was drunk and just uttered whatever came to his mouth. Jung Sook shares that she is joining the Family Medicine department under Sung Hee.
Jung Sook meets Sung Hee to let her know she will be working with her. She added that In Ho has revealed that she is his wife to everyone. Sung Hee and In Ho meet for brunch. She asks whether he has any intention of getting a divorce from his wife. He contends that Jung Sook is not at fault and that he is the main offender, making it impossible for him to request a divorce. Sung Hee wants a final decision related to their relationship.
Dr. Jeon So Ra is feeling awkward facing Jung Sook. Jeong Min directly asks Dr. Roy about his relationship with his mother. Dr. Roy clears that he and Jung Sook are nothing more than friends. The surgery department has planned a farewell party for Jung Sook. Seo In Ho apologizes to everyone for the shock he caused when he uncovered the truth.
Seo In Ho is still jealous of the increasing closeness of Jung Sook and Roy. He gets drunk again at the farewell party. Jung Sook drops her husband at home and leaves. She spends the night with her mother. Her mother is unaware of what Jung Sook is going through right now.
Jung Sook starts working in the medicine department. Yi Rang and Eun Seo get into a fight in the academy. Yi Rang pushes Eun Seo leading to a minor fracture in Eun Seo’s hand. Jung Sook is heartbroken again seeing Sung Hee and In Ho together. She cries her heart out on the stairs. In the hospital area, Jung Sook is sitting sadly, seeing this Jeon So Ra offers a car ride to feel relaxed from the suffocating emotion.
