Soul Devourer Queen will be on the defensive now that Lin has figured out her weakness in Disastrous Necromancer Chapter 101. Lin is taking full advantage of the fact that the queen trembled at the sight of the magic he used. He was a little taken aback when he first came across her but that will change with the weakness advantage.
As for why Lin was out of it when he came across Soul Devourer Queen, it was the pressure she emitted. He isn’t even too deep into the new world and he is already facing a monster that seems to be out of his league. He sent out his undead soldiers and general but they weren’t of any use against her.
Lin was shocked when he saw that his soldiers were dying at a fast pace and he didn’t have many options. Having options, and exercising them, is what he is best at, which made him a little worried. However, he still had tricks up his sleeves that he could use till he was completely exhausted.
When the necromancer threw a special type of mana at her, the queen reacted with wariness and Lin caught sight of it. He made sure to charge up all of his resources into the spell instead of wasting them on the soldiers. And from there on, the battle between the two shifted with Lin taking the lead in the fight.
