Destined Episode 37 will be airing this week! Destined is a Chinese Drama that premiered on June 18, 2018, and is adapted from the web novel Chang Feng Du written by Mo Shu Bai.
The drama revolves around the lives of Gu Jiu Si, heir to the richest family in Yangzhou, and Liu Yu Ru, who married him after facing a number of hardships in her life. The two of them at first don’t get along but, with time, develop feelings for one another.
As their love grows, problems begin arising in their state, and they have a newfound responsibility of protecting their people. Jiu Si and Yu Ru face the war that’s coming before them and make sure to stick by each other’s side as they fight against the evils of the state, making them destined for a brighter future and greater love.

Destined Episode 37 Preview (Spoilers!)
Destined Episode 36 ended with Yu Er having a heart-to-heart with his father, the Emperor. At this moment, the Emperor told Yu Er he had nothing to worry about.
He had arranged everything beforehand, and all Yu Er had to do was sit idly as the others did the job for him. This made Yu Er mad and frustrated as his own father deemed him incapable of becoming the emperor.
The emperor was worried about Yu Er; he blamed himself for being the reason behind Yu Er’s personality and only wanted his son to lead a happy life. Although he was the Crown Prince, the emperor wished to protect his son from all harm and so appointed everyone else to look after him and treat him well. General Zho was to be taking care of the Eastern Capital.
Gu Jiu Si and Ye Shi An were to help Yu Er with internal affairs. Yu Er had completely misunderstood his father’s motives and lashed out as to why he was not being given the responsibility of the next emperor.
The episode ends with the Emperor breathing his last breath as he lay on his bed with Yu Er crying on the side.
In Destined Episode 37, Liu Yu Ru goes back to meet her family. However, after having been gone for a long time, her mother believed she was dead and gone. She could not believe her eyes when Yu Ru came back to see her and thought she was hallucinating; everyone in Yu Ru’s hometown was in disbelief at the arrival of Yu Ru and shed tears of joy for her wellbeing.
