The world of Delicious in Dungeon is officially expanding in the U.S. once again, this time with a major Los Angeles debut. Kadokawa World Entertainment has announced that the “Ryoko Kui Exhibition” and “Delicious in Dungeon Exhibition” will run from July 2 to July 26, 2026, bringing fans closer than ever to the acclaimed manga and its creator.

Following a successful U.S. debut in New York in 2025, the exhibition is set to arrive in the Los Angeles Arts District just in time for Anime Expo 2026. The timing is deliberate, offering fans a dedicated experience beyond the crowded convention floor, while also introducing new content and expanded features not seen in previous runs.

What Fans Can Expect From the Los Angeles Exhibition

According to the official press release from Kadokawa World Entertainment, the exhibition is designed as an immersive deep look into both Delicious in Dungeon and Ryoko Kui’s broader body of work. Visitors will be able to explore a wide range of reproduced artwork, including pieces from Kui’s earlier titles such as The Dragon’s School Is on Top of the Mountain, Seven Little Sons of the Dragon, and Terrarium in Drawer.

One of the key highlights is the behind-the-scenes look at Kui’s creative process. The exhibition will feature rough concept sketches, time-lapse drawing footage, and a long-form interview with the manga artist. These elements aim to give fans a rare perspective on how the detailed world and characters of Delicious in Dungeon are brought to life.

Beyond artwork, the event leans heavily into interactive experiences. Attendees can expect immersive photo spots recreating dungeon environments, monsters, and even the series’ iconic food dishes. The Los Angeles version will also introduce additional features that were not part of the New York exhibition, making it a must-visit even for returning fans.

Tickets, Exclusive Items, and Limited-Time Experience

Tickets for the exhibition are now available, with general admission priced at $20. Fans also have the option to purchase an exhibition-exclusive plate add-on for an additional $25, though it requires a general admission ticket.

Every visitor will receive a special admission bonus in the form of a randomly selected postcard from a set of eight unique designs. This collectible element adds extra appeal for dedicated fans, especially those looking to own limited-edition merchandise tied to the event.

In addition, the exhibition will feature a curated selection of imported official merchandise. Kadokawa has confirmed that the Los Angeles stop will include an expanded lineup, giving U.S. fans access to items that were previously difficult to obtain. Certain bundled ticket options will also include exclusive collector items that are only available through the exhibition.

A Strategic Anime Expo Tie-In

The decision to launch the exhibition during the same week as Anime Expo 2026 is a strategic move by Kadokawa. While Anime Expo draws massive crowds each year, the exhibition provides a more focused and immersive environment for fans who want to engage deeply with the series.

By extending beyond the convention dates and running for nearly a month, the event ensures accessibility for both local visitors and those traveling to Los Angeles for the expo. This approach also reinforces Kadokawa’s growing presence in the North American market, where Delicious in Dungeon continues to gain popularity.

As stated in the official announcement, the goal is to create “a dedicated space for fans to fully experience Kui’s work,” something that traditional convention settings often cannot offer.
