For those who are unfamiliar with the plot; it follows Li Xiaobai, who is a player in Faerie Continent, a virtual reality game. After completing many missions and tasks inside the game, he joined a Sect called Xianyu. After joining Xianyu Sect he is now known as the seventh disciple of Feng Lingzi.
But now here comes the twist, a person, no one knows who made some changes in the system of the game Faerie Continent, because of this anyone who was playing the game at that time, cannot leave or log out of the game, including our guy Li Xiaobai. In order to escape from the game, the only thing Li Xiaobai can do is save the world, which is his final mission.
As he is in the virtual game, he can improve his abilities by defeating the enemies and completing the missions. By doing so, he decides to participate in a competition that goes by the name of, the Zongmen Grand Competition. By defeating a number of enemies he manages to make his name in the top 10 contestants.
What Happened Previously in Defense Fully Open
After proving himself in the competition, Li Xiaobai gets the opportunity to be a part of Divine Beast Mountain Range, in order to study at the Holy Demon Sect. In the mountain range Li Xiaobai and his friend Liu Jinshui, who is his fellow disciple, tried to trick other members of the Holy Demon Sect, by showing them a special fruit, but they get caught by the person who owns the tree.
Although to save his fellow disciple from the tree owner Xiaobai uses his ability to teleport them, he himself lefts behind and gets seriously injured, although he gets saved by a special and ancient talisman of the game’s system.
Later in the story, Li Xiaobai teleports himself away from his current city, randomly, where he started his entrance test in order to pass the Demon Holy Sect. As he violated the rules of the game and now is progressing away from the main storyline of the game, he doesn’t get any rewards for his recent activities.
In order to get back on track with the main storyline, he must have to complete a branch line, that goes by the name Young Talents. In order to unlock his progress, he starts a business in the city and becomes a popular businessman. Later, he invites a number of players to participate in the Young Talent Conference, so that he can defeat them with the help of his in-game abilities.
With the help of this, he finally manages to complete the branch line, and now he can complete the entrance test at the Holy Demon Sect. After passing the test, he becomes a member of the Demon Sect, and got the rights to go to the “Secret Realm”.
