Unfortunately, the new world Corpse God reincarnated into is not free from troubles either. Corpse God finds himself reincarnated into the body of a young boy named Polka Shinomaya. When Corpse God realizes that Polka’s throat had been split open, he knew that Polka was involved with something extremely dangerous. Corpse God’s worries are further solidified when he encounters the manic Misaki who was bent on assassinating him.

Dead Mount Death Play: Episode 4 Recap

In the previous episode of Dead Mount Death Play, we are introduced to the local law enforcement and their special unites Comps-3 which specializes in dealing with bizarre cases that have supernatural element to them. The episode begins with their leader, a cheerful and pumped up man named Tsubaki Iwanome and the cold but cunning Kouzaborou Araze who are investigating the human-knot incident. Polka is now on the cops’ radar for being involved.

Polka tells Tsubaki that he has transferred the real Polka’s soul into a dolphin toy but it takes a lot of magic energy to keep a human soul in the world. With the weak mana in this modern world as well as lack of ghosts, Polka tells that he could make use of some mana stones. The mana stones are called gemstones in the new world and Polka is astonished to learn how expensive they are when he goes out with Misaki to a Jewellery store.

As Misaki and Polka make their way out of the store, Tsubaki spots Araze approaching the duo with his drones. Tsubaki fears Araze due to their previous encounters but before he can pull his drone back, Araze attacks it. Araze begins question the duo and tells them that Tsubaki has a loose lip since he would spill anyone’s secret if his life is in danger. Misaki and Araze get in a fight and Misake kicks Araze into a wall and flees the scene with Polka.

They make their way to Clarissa’s bar where Iwanome was already present, having drinks after questioning Lisa. Iwanome is surprised to see the two them there and begins chatting with them under the guise of being friendly. Araze arrives at the bar as well and Tsubaki gives a way for Misaki and Polka to run. Just as they’re about to leave, Polka feels a threatening presence in the room and everyone is shocked to see the invisible mercenary Lemmings reveal himself.
