Dark Gathering Season 2 has revealed its second key visual, offering fans a chilling new look at the supernatural horror anime ahead of its planned 2027 broadcast. The newly released artwork focuses on Kubizuka Daimyojin, a location surrounded by an eerie atmosphere and regarded as one of Kyoto’s most dangerous haunted sites. Thick mist surrounds the location in the visual, setting the tone for another terrifying chapter in the series.
The announcement comes as anticipation continues to build around the anime’s return. Based on Kenichi Kondo’s manga, Dark Gathering follows characters who confront dangerous spirits across Japan while pursuing deeply personal goals. The manga has surpassed 3 million copies in circulation since beginning serialization in Shueisha’s Jump SQ. in 2019.
