Only a few weeks remain until Daredevil: Born Again arrives on Disney+. The streaming platform is preparing fans for what is coming. Disney+ released a new 30-second teaser full of action, fights, and dark moments. Fans wanted this style, and the new footage delivers exactly that.
When Netflix canceled the original Daredevil series, many believed they would never see this version of the character again. The Netflix show gave the most accurate version of Daredevil. Charlie Cox, known for Boardwalk Empire, played Matt Murdock, a lawyer who lost his sight as a child.
His blindness gave him sharper senses and made him skilled in acrobatics. Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson played Karen Page and Foggy Nelson, two important people in Matt’s life. Fans loved these characters, and no Marvel adaptation could erase them from memory.
Disney+ decided to continue the story, but some viewers feared Daredevil: Born Again would not be as dark as the original. Disney+ responded to these concerns by releasing a trailer filled with intense and emotional scenes.
Matt Murdock’s battle with Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) continues. The teaser includes the tagline, “The Devil’s work is never done,” showing that Daredevil’s fight is far from over. The footage reveals that Kingpin is not the only returning enemy. Bullseye (Wilson Bethel) and The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) will also return.
Fans already knew about these characters coming back, but the trailer confirms that Matt will face brutal challenges once again. The action-packed footage reassures fans that this series will stay true to its roots.
Where Did Netflix’s Daredevil Leave Off?
The last time fans saw Daredevil was in 2018, during the third and final season of the Netflix series. Matt Murdock barely survived the destruction of Midland Circle. He also lost Elektra (Elodie Yung), which made him distance himself from personal connections. Without his classic red suit, he continued fighting crime with a simple mask. Eventually, he encountered Kingpin once again.
Wilson Fisk made a deal with the FBI to stay under house arrest. However, he tricked the bureau and turned the situation to his advantage. Season 3 focused on Matt reuniting with Karen and Foggy while introducing Bullseye as a dangerous enemy.
Bullseye, part of Fisk’s FBI security detail, had deadly aim, which Kingpin used for his plans. By the end of the season, Kingpin returned to prison, and Bullseye was left injured after a dramatic battle. However, the upcoming Disney+ series reveals that Fisk has now become the Mayor, and Bullseye is back as well.
Fans can expect intense fights, acrobatics, and Daredevil’s signature baton skills. Daredevil: Born Again arrives on March 4, 2025, exclusively on Disney+.
