Okarun and Momo will be back after a month’s break as the mangaka takes a break for Dandadan Chapter 164. And to make things worse for the readers, the series went into Hiatus when things got a lot more interesting. We finally got to see Germain’s true colors and the existence of something known as Dandadan that will play a pivotal role in the future.
The all-out attack by Okarun and the others brought an end to Fairy Tale Card’s effect on everyone else. In just one shot, the Yokai was destroyed (presumably) and everyone went back to the way they were. But it took a toll on Okarun and he couldn’t move another muscle after this and laid down to rest.
Inside the briefcase the world was falling apart with Turbo Granny and Momo in it, waiting for rescue. The two had a heart-to-heart for a moment, but when the world started to collapse, Turbo Granny was back to her usual self. Luckily for them, that was the moment that they started to levitate in the air and then out of the Briefcase.
The two made it back out safe and alive, but for some reason, Momo was still small in size. Elsewhere, the Fairy Tale Card had shrunk to the size of an insect and escaped the premises only to be caught by Germain. Germain made the Yokai obey him, and in return, he took its powers from it.
