The contestants are already captivating the audience with their skills as the most recent season of Dancing with the Stars gets underway. Just two days after a tentative agreement with the Writers Guild of America was struck, the first episode of season 32 of “Dancing With the Stars” aired on ABC on Tuesday night. The new television season for autumn has started.
This is the first season since Len Goodman, the head judge, passed away. At the beginning of the episode, the hosts of the program, Alfonso Ribiero and Julianne Hough, announced that the contestants would now be vying for the “Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy,” which carries his name.
Highlights of the evening featured Rylee Arnold, Lindsay Arnold’s younger sister, making her professional dancing debut on “Dancing With the Stars.” However, the judges felt that her partner, Harry Jowsey, needed to improve his game. Jowsey finally tied for the evening’s lowest score with Matt Walsh and Tyson Beckford.
Recap Of Dancing With The Stars Season 32 Episode 2
During the heated second week of “DWTS” Season 32, the couples hit the dance floor for Latin Night. The pros opened the evening with an exciting dance to Rosala’s “Despechá” before hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro introduced the pairs.
Artem Chigvintsev’s positive COVID-19 test result was made public at the start of the show, and it was announced that he would be dancing with Ezra Sosa with “Bachelorette” actress Charity Lawson as his partner. Once more, the celebrities gave it their all to take home the Mirrorball Trophy.
Alan Bersten and “Zoey 101” actress Jamie Lynn Spears took a bow after being eliminated from the second program. As the two danced to Pitbull, judges Derek Hough, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba offered advice on how Spears may get better.
However, after the results of the judges’ ratings and the fan votes were tallied, Britney Spears’ younger sister was eliminated. Two couples are in the lead after the second week. The Marvel stars Val Chmerkovskiy and Xochitl Gomez received the highest rating of the night and the best of the season. The couple performed a dance to Camila Cabello’s “Don’t Go Yet” and won the competition with a score of 24/30.
Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach both received the same grade after dancing the Rumba. As the audience’s votes and the judges’ ratings were combined to determine who would move on and who would be eliminated, Adrian Peterson and Britt Stewart were the second duo in danger of being eliminated.
The two have the lowest scores so far this season. However, they shared the same grade of 15/30 with Harry Jowsey, Rylee Arnold, Barry Williams, and Peta Murgatroyd.
