Amid Kpop reality shows, tvN is back with a new concept of an entertainment reality show. The show is titled “Dancing Queen on the Road,” originally known as “Dance Singer Wandering Troupe” in South Korea, and is set to broadcast on May 25, 2023, on the tvN television channel.
The show features well-known 2nd and 3rd-generation K-pop girl group members. The concept of the show is that the idols will travel around the nation, interact with people and their normal lives, and hold concerts in different places in the country to show their performances and capture beautiful memories together as they move forward.
It has been revealed that the idea of going on a tour concert was Lee Hyori back in 2021. She always wanted to go on a national tour while performing in concerts. Seems like tvN heard her wish and granted it by forming the show “Dancing Queen on the Road.”
For the final lineup of the cast of “Dancing Queen on the Road,” we have Kim Wansun, Uhm Junghwa, Lee Hyori, BoA, and Hwasa. All of them are popular and well-known singers and dancers too. The fact is few of the members are former members of famous girl groups, while some are still active in the industry.

Kim Wan-Sun
Kim Wan-Sun is one of the popular first-generation K-pop female idols. She debuted at the age of 17 with the song “Tonight.” She was very popular between the mid-1980s and early 1990s.
