Popular dancer, choreographer, and actress, Allison Holker is popular for appearing in television series, and films, and for her concert appearances. Born in Anoka County, the thirty-five-year-old dancer is most famous for her appearance in season two of the reality show, So You Think You Can Dance.
Holker is known to have grown up in Utah, wrapping up her high school graduation in 2006 all the while being involved in dancing. She has revealed that she started learning to dance when she was only nine years old, signing up at The Dance Club in Orem.
She especially focused on mastering contemporary, jazz, ballet, and tap dancing, and during the 2002 Winter Olympics, Holker found herself invited to perform at the opening and closing ceremony of the prestigious event, where she performed Earth, Wind, and Fire.
You can also spot her in the 2006 and 2007 released Disney Channel’s musical film series, High School Musical 1 & 2. While in the second season of So You Think You Can Dance, she managed to make it to the top eight, though she failed to make it to the finale.
She has since appeared on SYTYCD’s national tour, Tried and True, Christina Perri’s music video for the song Jar of Hearts, and is even known to have worked with star singer Demi Lovato as her backup dancer. She has also been featured on the reality show, Dancing With The Stars over multiple seasons as a professional dancer.
The dancer has successfully managed to carve out a career for herself in the industry, not only working with A-list celebrities but also holding workshops and classes to teach the art herself. While she may have found success in her professional life, things do not seem to have turned out all that well for her in her private life.

Holker opens up about her husband’s passing
In a recent episode of The Viall Files Podcast that featured Allison Holker as a guest, fans finally heard more about how the dancer coped with the death of her husband, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, and its aftermath. The couple had gotten married back in 2013 in Paso Robles, California, and has since then welcomed two kids into the world.
Together they had a son and a daughter, born more recently along with Holker’s daughter, whom she had with an ex. What seemed like a happy family living life together was left completely broken and crumbled with the devastating news of Stephen’s suicide that happened on December 13th, 2022.
While on the podcast, the conversation naturally went to discussing Stephen’s passing, and Allison ended up revealing how she had been ‘talking to him actively’. She discussed in depth how she had dealt with the grief, eventually coming around to ‘forgiving’ him.
It has been barely over a year since Stephen’s death, and it seems like Allison is still processing the trauma of it all. She revealed that she had proper conversations with her husband, sometimes talking about mundane things like picking a school for the kids, and other times, it would be just her shouting at him.
Conversations with her husband included asking questions like ‘how was the day today?’ to ‘I’m picking a school for the kids. What do you think of this school?’. She revealed that she used to pause to wait ‘for an answer’ and then just move on.
While talking about the elaborate conversations that the dancer had with her husband she also revealed that she had one of the most healing conversations with him, when she was outside and staring at the sky, stargazing and she talked with Stephen. This turned out to be the conversation where she finally forgave him.
She said, “Whether it was necessary or not, I don’t know if it was necessary or needed, but I forgave him.” She recalled telling Stephen, “I hope you found that peace.” Almost a year after his passing, Allison slowly seems to be coming around, accepting the fact that her husband is no more with her.
She is finally reaching the place where genuinely wishes for him to find the peace that he could not find while still being here. Realizing that what Stephen did must not have been an easy decision, she finally has her kids and her life slightly under control.
Wanting to remember him but not be tied with grief for the rest of her life, Allison revealed that she continues to feel Stephen around her, and so do her kids. She is convinced that his love for the family continues to exist and that he is still around keeping his wife and kids safe and protected.
