A documentary film chronicling the recovery and advocacy efforts of Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, who suffered cardiac arrest during an NFL game earlier this year, is currently in production. The film, titled “Did We Win,” is directed by Clay Tweel and produced by Beau Flynn. It highlights Hamlin’s remarkable journey from his on-field collapse to his subsequent return to the active roster.
Damar Romeyelle Hamlin is a football safety for American football safety and works for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). Damar Romeyelle Hamlin was born on 24 March 1998 and is currently 25 years old. He was born in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, America. Ham studied at Central Catholic High School, which was situated in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
During his college days, Hamilton participated in some major leagues, such as Pittsburgh, Penn State, Ohio State, and Temple, and played as a top cornerback. Later, you were selected by the Pittsburgh Panthers and played for them. With the start of Hamlin’s professional career, he played for the Buffalo Bills and signed a contract of 4 years as a rookie bill on 21 May 2021. On the date of 2 January 2023, during a game against the Bengals team, Hamlin was injured with emergency medical treatment as he collapsed on the field during the game. It was reported that Hamlin had an episode of commotio cordis, which is a cardiac disorder in which cardiac rhythm is disrupted.
Hamlin was treated at the University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center, and on 9 January, he was discharged from the hospital and shifted to Buffalo General Medical Center. On the eve of Super Bowl LVII, Hamlin appeared on the field and was accompanied by his UC Health staff members and Bills athletic training.

Hamlin’s work with the Chasing M’s Foundation, aimed at providing easier access to CPR training and donating defibrillator paddles to youth sports organizations, is praised in the documentary. Additionally, NFL Films collaborated on the project, offering unique on-field recovery footage and audio from Hamlin.

Despite being listed as a backup safety during preseason, Hamlin was officially named a member of the Bills’ 53-man active roster. While he did not play in the season opener against the New York Jets, his remarkable story continues to inspire.

“Did We Win” is FlynnPictureCo’s first documentary project and is financed by Endeavor’s non-scripted content group, with WME Independent handling sales.
