Synopsis
Dam is a South African Psychological Thriller Series that revolves around Yola, who over the passage of time, ends up being a victim to supernatural entities and ghosts that surround her hometown.
Yola had gone to Eastern Cape Town to attend her father’s funeral. Having been distant from the whole community living in Chile, when Yola returns to the farming community of her father’s home, she starts unravelling the dark secrets that had been buried before her arrival. Rituals, cults and ghostly beings had all emerged after her return.
By the end of the first season, the ceremonial sacrifice of the cult seemed to have succeeded because rain has arrived and changed the landscape. Since her return to attend her father’s burial, Yola has lost all memory of everything that had happened to her. This Season, will she be able to fit the puzzle together as a monster emerges from the dam, a mass burial is found along with riches and diamonds?

In the last episode of Dam, Yola decided to investigate what had happened after noticing changes in her appearance in her. The weird instances that kept occurring to her had finally taken a physical appearance. On the other hand, when asked to leave her home, Lindiwe refuses. In the upcoming episode of Dam titled “Do the Mamlambo”, we will witness Max proposing to Yola , asking to marry him at the Daughters of Jacob debutantes ball. To get a confession from Dirk, Sienna pretends to be a seductress. The Fort Vannenburg women finally manage to escape after all those days of struggle.
