Anime fans around the world have something to get excited about. Crunchyroll, one of the most popular anime streaming platforms, has officially revealed its list of new anime acquisitions for Fall 2025 and beyond. This announcement includes many highly anticipated titles, brand-new series, and surprise returns that have already started trending online. From fantasy adventures to emotional dramas, the lineup promises something for every kind of anime viewer.

The Fall 2025 anime season is shaping up to be one of the most packed seasons in recent memory. Crunchyroll’s announcement includes more than a dozen new series, with a mix of adaptations from popular manga, light novels, and some completely original anime productions. The news was shared during a special panel held at Anime Expo and through a livestream event hosted on Crunchyroll’s official YouTube and social media channels.

Among the biggest highlights is the anime adaptation of the hit webtoon Bloodwitch Academy, which has built a strong global fanbase over the years. The anime version is being produced by Studio Trigger and will feature top-tier animation and a talented voice cast. Fans have been waiting for this adaptation for years, and Crunchyroll’s confirmation has made it one of the most talked-about titles of the season.

Another major reveal is the return of Chainsawman, a fantasy drama that gained a cult following when it aired its first season in 2023. Season 2 is now confirmed for a Fall 2025 release, and Crunchyroll has secured the streaming rights for both sub and dub versions. The studio behind the show, MAPPA, promises even higher quality animation and an emotionally powerful storyline that continues right where Season 1 left off.

Crunchyroll Reveals Exciting Fall 2025 Anime Lineup with Major New Titles

Crunchyroll is also adding several light-hearted series to balance the heavier content. My Neighbor the Android is a romantic comedy about a high school boy and his AI classmate, who learns how to feel emotions. This original anime has already received praise from early preview audiences and is expected to appeal to fans of shows like Horimiya and Kaguya-sama: Love is War.

The lineup isn’t only made up of new shows. Crunchyroll is also bringing back old favorites with special episodes and sequels. The Ancient Magus’ Bride will return with a new OVA set between Seasons 2 and 3, offering fans more insight into the bond between Chise and Elias. Meanwhile, Samurai Bullet, a sleeper action hit from 2022, is getting a movie adaptation that will stream exclusively on Crunchyroll after its limited theatrical release in Japan.

For fans of sports anime, Crunchyroll is offering Freefall: Skydiving Club, a new original anime about a group of teenagers training to become professional skydivers. The show blends fast-paced aerial scenes with themes of friendship, fear, and facing the unknown. The creators promise it will bring something fresh to the sports anime genre.

International fans are also being considered. Crunchyroll is expanding its simulcast lineup, meaning more shows will be available with English subtitles the same day they air in Japan. Some of the new titles will also include multilingual dubs, with voice acting in Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German, among others. This move reflects Crunchyroll’s growing focus on making anime more accessible to global audiences.

Fall 2025 Heats Up as Crunchyroll Confirms New Originals and Fan-Favorite Returns

In addition to the anime titles themselves, Crunchyroll confirmed new merchandise, collaborations, and events tied to its upcoming shows. Limited-edition figures, apparel, and digital collectibles will be launched through the Crunchyroll Store alongside the release of the Fall 2025 anime. Fans attending conventions like New York Comic Con and Japan Expo can also expect exclusive sneak peeks and panels featuring creators and voice actors.

The announcement has received a positive response online. Fans have flooded Reddit, X (formerly Twitter), and Discord servers with their thoughts on the titles. Many are excited to see Crunchyroll take more risks with original content while also continuing to support beloved series. Anime influencers and reviewers have already begun posting reaction videos and countdowns to the premieres.

With competition from other platforms like Netflix, Disney+, and HIDIVE, Crunchyroll’s aggressive approach to acquiring and promoting new anime is seen as a strategic move to maintain its position as the top destination for anime fans. By offering a mix of returning hits, promising new series, and diverse genres, Crunchyroll is sending a clear message: Fall 2025 belongs to anime lovers.

As the release dates draw closer, trailers, cast announcements, and theme songs will be revealed to build even more hype. Crunchyroll has promised weekly updates leading into October, when the bulk of the new titles will debut.

For now, anime fans can rest easy knowing there’s a massive wave of fresh content coming soon. Whether you’re a fan of intense action, heartwarming romance, mysterious fantasy, or laugh-out-loud comedy, Fall 2025 on Crunchyroll has something just for you.
