Crayon Shin-Chan The Movie: Our Dinosaurs Diary takes place at a major theme park that brings dinosaurs back to life in modern-day Tokyo. During this time, Shin-Chan and his friends share special moments with a small dinosaur named Nana, found by their dog Shiro. An incredible struggle ensues over Nana! Bubble Odoroki, who launched Dino’s Island, seeks Nana’s location desperately before a certain secret is revealed.
Shin-Chan forces Billy, who knows Nana’s secret, to take action. However, trouble strikes during their mission as dinosaurs break free and rampage through Tokyo and Kasukabe! They wreak havoc, demolishing buildings, overpowering the military, and endangering Shin-Chan and Shiro. Even the Nohara family, with 32 years left on their mortgage, suffers as their home is trampled by dinosaurs, leaving Hiroshi in tears.

On June 13, the official website for Crayon Shin-Chan The Movie: Our Dinosaurs Diary, the 31st feature film from the Crayon Shin-Chan anime franchise, revealed two main trailers.
The Movie is scheduled for release in Japan on August 9, 2024, and will be Directed by Shinobu Sasaki. The trailers feature the film’s theme song, “Omoide wo Kakenukete,” by the Japanese rock band My Hair is Bad. Formed in 2008, My Hair is Bad made its major debut from Emi Records in 2016 and has since released three CD singles and five original albums. “Omoide wo Kakenukete” marks their first work as an anime theme song.
