The group made its debut on March 3, 2020, but it has been active since the year 2018 in the Korean music industry. The five-member girl group was previously known by the name “WishGirls” and was introduced in the industry by their winter project in which they released their song called “Wish For You”. On June 27, 2019, the song was officially released on music sites.
In the year 2019, every member of the group was given a solo song pre-debut by their label. Following the decision, a solo song came from each member of the group. On May 18 music video “Issue” of Woo-Ah was released. It was followed by “Boyfriend” solo by Hyejin, which was released on August 10. On August 30, ChaeY’s “Sixteen” was released, and on September 25, Swan’s “My Soul” came to light. And, at last, on October 24, Karin’s “Ka Ka Ka” was out.
A summer project was announced by the label, followed by another winter project in which all the girls were featured, and the music video was out on December 18. Through the music video, the group also revealed that their debut date is coming soon.
The group made its official debut through the single “My Universe,” and its teaser also revealed the group’s new name, “Craxy”. The music video for the single was released on January 16.
A month later, it was revealed that the group is planning to release their debut album on March 1. Though the release got delayed due to some internet issues and due to the COVID-19 situation, their comeback was postponed around their one-year anniversary.
They also announced that they are changing their fandom name too and are open to suggestions from fans which they can drop on their Instagram. After all the discussion, the fandom name was officially changed from CRAVITY to CROWN.
Their first comeback teaser was uploaded on July 23, 2021, and it was announced that the single would be released on October 7.
Woo-Ah is the leader of the group and also in the positions of main rapper and vocalist. She loves composing music and writing lyrics, and her solo song “Issue” was released on May 18, 2019. Formerly, she was known with the stage name “Chaewon,” but later, it was changed to Wo-Ah. Referred to as the father of the group, Woo-Ah’s role models are CL and Lee Hyori.

Holding the positions of the main dancer, rapper, and vocalist, KaRin was introduced as one of the original CRAXY trainees and was first seen in the group’s pre-debut single called “Wish For You”. Previously, she was known by the stage name Yerin. She is a learned ballet dancer, and her solo song “Ka Ka Ka” was released on October 24, 2019. KaRin’s role model is Soyeon from (G)I-DLE.
Real Name: Lee Ye Rin.
Birthday: April 23, 2000.
Hyejin is recognized as the lead rapper, lead dancer, vocalist, and visual of the group. Her solo song called “Boyfriend” was released on August 10, 2019. She has a hobby of playing Legos and has a soft spot for puppies. Her role model is APink, and she has said that there’s always a lot to learn from them. She has a goal to have a solo concert and a world tour.

Birthday: July 13, 2000.
Swan was officially introduced as a member on June 19, 2019, through a cover of Naomi Scott’s “Speechless”. She is known as the main vocalist of the group and also the tallest member. She has also made her solo debut with her single “My Soul,” which was released on September 25, 2019. Her role models are Hwasa and Rihanna, and she has a goal to become a global artist.

Birthday: December 28, 2000.
ChaeY holds the position of lead vocalist, lead dancer, and maknae of the group. Her former stage name was Chaeyeon, and she became a full-time trainee at the time of her high school. She is known to be the most flexible one in the group and has made her solo debut with the song “Sixteen,” which was released on August 30, 2019. Her role models are IU and Hyuna, and she has a goal to hold her own concert.
