The beloved Korean drama is back with another beautiful show every week. With time, it is gathering more audience each day. Crash Course In Romance is a romantic comedy. It is written by Yang Hee-Seung. The director, Yu Je-won, of the show, adds a unique visual to the drama.
Yes, it is one of the best quirky shows out there. And it is still ongoing. So, you can look forward to it each. The show is expected to have only sixteen episodes. It is heartbreaking, but you can’t stop supporting the enigmatic actors of this series. It stars Jeon Do-Yeon, Jung Kyung-Ho, Lee Bong-ryeon, Oh Eui-sik, Shin Jae-ha, and others.
The show has a new concept of plot. It is a love story of a single mother, Nam Haeng-Seon. As the name suggests, it does involve romance and education. However, it is not an education on the topic of romance. The show depicts the true situation of a prestigious institution.
The vicious money-minded nature of instructors in the coaching industry. Indian coaching industry came into the limelight with an increase in suicides over the years. Therefore, It is very much relatable to students, especially those who are underprivileged.

A Quick Recap
Nam Haeng-Seon has somehow managed to get her daughter, Nam Hae-Yi, admitted to the Pride Academy. However, she struggles in dealing with the politics among the parents of the prestigious institution.
Also, She begins to fall for Choi Chi Yeol, the Ilta (best) Maths instructor. He has become an indifferent instructor after long years of achieving fame and money in his field. His past has more than just Mathematics. His past may be ugly, but that is what attracts Haeng-Seon.
Over time, Hae-Yi becomes the top student in the academy. This causes a huge controversy as the instructor, and her mother has become quite close. Their relationship has to overcome many hurdles along the way. We also learn that Haeng-Seon is not the real mother of Hae-Yi.
Dong-Hui has turned out to be quite a villain. Hae-Yi and Sun-Jae accidentally cheat on their exam. This hits her conscience. In Episode 13, Hae-Yi disappears when she is sent out for an errand. Apparently, Sun-Jae’s mother has something to do with the missing of Hae-Yi.
The local police set up an investigation. Haeng-Seon hears the weird blank reading exam event from Jong-ryeol. She cannot accept that Hae-Yi ran away because of a failed exam. At last, the real villain is unmasked. It is none other than Dong-Hui. He is the one after Hae-Yi.
Recap of Episode 14: Dong-Hui plans to show that she committed suicide. She has escaped from his grip. The perfect wrap-up of the situation happens. Hae-Yi is in a coma. Thus, she won’t be able, to tell the truth about Dong-Hui.
The police also reached the conclusion that it was a suicide attempt on the basis of available evidence. Haeng-Seon ends up blaming herself and her lack of attention due to her love life. On the other hand, Sun-Jae wants to confess and be done with his stirred-up conscious.
Chi-Yeol confronts Dong-Hui regarding his recent decisions for the academy without his permission. His obsession with Chi-Yeol is quite evident. Then, we get the villain’s backstory. Dong-Hui’s mother was abusive toward her children. He only survived those painful years because of his sister. Ultimately, he ends up killing his mother. Though, he walks free.
Chi-Yeol and Dong-Hui makeup. Chi-Yeol remembers the evidence regarding the attacker. Dong-Hui seems suspicious to him. He follows his troubled assistant. And his suspicion is strengthened now.
