Cooking With The Stars Season 3 Preview
A professional chef is paired with eight celebrities to serve as their mentor. The celebrities then engage in a series of cooking contests where they prepare a variety of different dishes while competing against one another. They have the option to bang the gong (a golden frying pan) during the cooking process, which invites their mentor to step in and assist for two minutes.
In addition to serving as judges, the mentor chefs also rate the other celebrity chefs, selecting the winner(s) who move on to the next round and the losers who must compete in the cook-off.
The bottom two cook the same dish in the cook-off without assistance from their mentor in an effort to advance further in the competition. The cook-off is judged by a blind taste test, so the chefs may be able to disqualify their own celebrity by not knowing which celebrity prepared which dish.
