Cody Rhodes’ WWE Journey
Reflecting on the moment, Rhodes revealed on Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg that he believes he wasn’t supposed to see the tribute video in the ring during RAW. However, he expressed gratitude for the unexpected surprise and the sentiment behind it.
“I don’t think I was supposed to be in the ring to see the video they made. I think what happened was, everyone saw it and thought, ‘we might as well capture him seeing it for the first time.’ It wasn’t the plan, but what a great problem to have,” Rhodes shared.
In addition to his WrestleMania triumph, Rhodes successfully defended his title against AJ Styles at Backlash. Looking ahead, he expressed interest in feuding with Randy Orton. Fans eagerly anticipate the potential clash between Rhodes and Orton, as Rhodes sets his sights on new challenges in the WWE reign.
