In the latest update, Cobra Kai showrunner Josh Heald has not yet provided details about Season 6 or the aftermath of Terry Silver’s defeat.
Season 5 concluded with a dramatic battle involving Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang against Silver’s formidable Cobra Kai. Fans await further developments for the series and its characters.
By the end of the finale episode, Terry Silver’s deceitful actions were exposed, leading his own students to turn against him. This leaves his and his dojo’s future uncertain as the series moves towards Cobra Kai Season 6.
Following the intense events, Terry Silver’s influence may have diminished, but the Cobra Kai dojo itself could still remain, albeit without its former leader.
The future of the dojo and its members remains uncertain as the series progresses towards Season 6.
Check out showrunner Heald’s remarks on the dojo’s status below:
“Terry Silver’s Cobra Kai is gone for good. It was destroyed at the end of last season and we’re seeing the remnants of that being thrown away and demolished.
We begin our season in peacetime in the valley for the first time in a while. It’s nice. It’s the first time since the first episode of the series that there is no Cobra Kai in the Valley.
Whether that means Cobra Kai is done for good remains to be seen because like you said, Cobra Kai never dies.
It was a new and interesting place to start, seeing all the characters that we care about dealing with the aftermath of victory. We try to let the characters enjoy that for as long as they can before conflict rears its ugly head.”
