Claymore creator Norihiro Yagi has officially launched his new manga, BARTLET FAIRY BASSLET, on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform. The first chapter debuted in Japan on November 2, 2026, with MANGA Plus and Viz Media also making the series available in English on the same day.

According to Shonen Jump+’s official announcement, the story follows Brunhilde, a princess who also serves as the captain of her kingdom’s knights. After defeating her longtime nemesis, she encounters an unusual phenomenon when mysterious glowing fish begin falling from the sky.

MANGA Plus describes the new series as a “hack and slash fantasy epic,” suggesting a return to the fantasy action genre that made Yagi famous through Claymore.
