Chicago Fire Season 10 Episode 12 Recap
Episode 12 of Chicago Fire Season 10 dropped on 19th January 2022 titled “Show Of Force”. The episode began with Herrmann at his house seeing his two older sons fighting with each other, which didn’t make him feel good. Meanwhile, at the firehouse, we saw Stella nervous about taking on the Lieutenant position temporarily to fill in for Pelham. Soon, the firehouse received a call about an incident at the mall where many people had fallen over an escalator. Additionally, some were stuck inside the stairs badly. However, Stella took on the leading job perfectly, handling the team with precision and getting the people out safely. This impressed her team and Boden as well, who saw that she looked like a natural while leading the team. Mouch was not happy about the fact that regulars were not invited to the CFD Gala night, and only the officers were going.
But Brett gave a suggestion to organize their own Gala, and everyone got excited. However, Gallo, Violet, and Ritter started planning their own Gala at some other place that would be more fun. Although, Violet had to cancel as she got an invitation to the CFD Gala due to the recent award she received. But she told Gallo and Ritter that she’ll just attend the CFD Gala for a while and come back. On the other hand, Boden’s request of looking into Kilbourne for fabricating evidence against Pelham was turned down by Deputy Commissioner Gloria. But Stella suggested Boden ask retired Captain Stafford to Pelham, and eventually Stafford agreed. Moreover, Stella, Mouch, and Gallo went to DC Gloria’s office to offer their resignation in support of Pelham. At last, it all worked, and Stafford gave his statement to Gloria that Kilbourne had fabricated evidence several times previously.
To confirm it, Gloria visited the injured firefighter Sara and learned the truth that Kilbourne did pressurize her to speak against Pelham. Eventually, Gloria put Kilbourne on leave until the investigation on him was completed. On the other hand, Herrmann made his older sons realize that they were lucky to have each other after meeting a man at the academy who used to come there every month to feel closer to his dead brother. Meanwhile, Brett’s party turned out to be much better therefore, Gallo and Ritter stayed there. While Violet and Evan finally kissed each other at the Gala. Whereas, Kelly surprised Stella outside the Gala hall with an engagement ring which she gladly accepted. In the end, we saw Stella returning Pelham’s uniform to him at his house with the news that he was back at his job.
