Charlie Sheen has been sober for six months
The recent incident happened not long after Charlie Sheen revealed that he gave up drinking in order to focus on his role as a father and that he has been sober for almost six years. The “Two and a Half Men” star revealed to People earlier this month, “Next month, I’ll be six years sober. I now lead a fairly regular lifestyle. It’s all about being a single dad and raising my twin boys, Max and Bob, who are 14 years old.”
Sheen’s well-documented public battle with addiction stems from his candid admission that he enjoys morning cocktails and even spikes his coffee with scotch.
Sheen currently begins his day at “4:30 or 5 a.m.,” putting an emphasis on reading, working out, and answering emails. He also spends his mornings helping his children, making lighthearted remarks about their erratic schedules.

Charlie Sheen found satisfaction in reuniting with Chuck Lorre
In spite of the recent turmoil, Charlie Sheen—who is well-known for the turbulent personal life that caused him to leave the popular sitcom “Two and a Half Men” years ago—spoke with Deadline about finding satisfaction in reuniting with Chuck Lorre, the show’s creator, on “Bookie.”
Sheen said that he would be open to working with Lorre once more, saying, “If he said, ‘Hey man, let’s finish how we started,’ I’m wondering where and when he said that. Following that, I have no control over what transpires, the outcomes, or whether people like it or not.” Even though the future is unpredictable, he is still willing to explore new possibilities.
