Denji grew up in poverty, struggling every day just to survive. With no parents to support him, he was forced to work for the yakuza to pay off his late father’s debt. His only companion was his pet devil, Pochita, a small chainsaw-shaped creature who helped him hunt devils for money. Even though life was tough, Denji dreamed of simple things—eating good food, sleeping in a warm bed, and maybe even finding love.
One day, Denji’s life takes a drastic turn. Betrayed and left for dead by the very people he worked for, he finds himself on the brink of death. But just when everything seems lost, Pochita sacrifices himself to save Denji, merging with him and granting him incredible new powers.

Chainsaw Man Plot
Now, Denji is given a second chance at life. He is recruited by the Public Safety Bureau, an organization that hunts devils to protect the city. For the first time, he has a stable job, a place to live, and food to eat. But being a Devil Hunter is dangerous, and Denji quickly realizes that he has a lot to learn. His chainsaw powers are strong, but using them in battle takes skill and control.
As he adjusts to his new life, Denji meets new allies and enemies. He works alongside skilled hunters like Aki, a serious and disciplined fighter, and Power, a wild and unpredictable fiend. At the same time, he faces terrifying devils that threaten the safety of humanity. Though Denji is powerful, he soon understands that fighting devils is not just about strength—it requires strategy, teamwork, and sometimes even sacrifice.
Despite the dangers, Denji remains true to himself. He doesn’t have grand ambitions or deep motivations—he just wants to enjoy life, eat good food, and experience the things he never had before. But with stronger devils appearing and mysterious forces working in the shadows, Denji’s journey is only beginning.
