Chad Michael Murray, who was recently accused of cheating on his partner in 2002 with the actress Sophia Bush, has reacted. His reaction came in after Erin Foster accused him of cheating on her with another actress.
Chad subtly addressed the issue in a news channel recently. In a recent episode of Erin’s podcast with her sister Sara Foster, Sara asked her about dating a lot of celebrities. As she brings up an article featuring unpopular celebrity couples, Sara says that you actually dated like a lot of celebrities.
Erin replies to her statement that Chad had cheated on her with Sophia Bush. She then continued that he cheated on her with the Good Sam actress Sophia in a pretty egregious way. She said in the podcast that Chad cheated on her while they were living together, and it was pathetic on her at the start.
Later Chad replied to her accusation in an interview with E!News. However, Chad sidestepped the question about his infidelity and said that he has more regrets in his life than he cares to think about. He also added that he does not like to live his life thinking about his past.
Chad Michael Murray: He Would Like to Focus on the Future
After the allegation by Erin Foster, Chad does not seem to deny or confirm the accusation in the latest interview. Rather he added that he is not the type of person who likes to dig up the past.
He said that it’s not one of those things that he wants to go down the road because there’s just never a winner. He also added that he is happy and contented to have a life like this. He even said he feels blessed to be where he is right now.
Murray and Erin Foster dated for almost a year and later broke up. He later was in a relationship with his One Tree Hill co-star, Sophia Bush. The two later got hitched in 2005 and decided to get separated after five months as a married couple. Murray was accused of cheating then too, when Nick Carter said he had an affair with his then-girlfriend Paris Hilton.
The actor said that
I try to move forward every single day and just go, I got air in my lung, life in my step, the will to move forward and the sun’s gonna rise on a beautiful tomorrow. I live in the now, I live in the present, I live in the future. Things have changed so dramatically for me since I was a young man that I just try to live in this space always. So, I don’t think you’ll ever find me saying anything negative or hurtful about anybody. I never will. That’s just not me. I’m not going to do it.
However, some of Sophia’s friends decided to stand up for her, and her longtime friend Hilarie Burton took the issue to Instagram. She shared her statement in her Instagram stories that she had a different recollection of the incidents that happened in the year 2002.
Sophie Bush has not yet addressed the allegations made by Erin Foster.
Erin and Murray seemed to have moved on
Murray and Erin Foster has moved on in their life and have started new families. Murray had married the actress Sarah Roemer in January 2015. The couple now has three kids together, a son and two daughters.
Erin Foster has married a businessman, the CEO and co-founder of The Core Entertainment, and a partner of Live Nation Simon Tikhman in 2020. The daughter of musician David Foster announced that the couple is expecting their first child on November 23, 2023.
After the accusation, Foster also said on her podcast that she had moved on in her life. Murray also seemed to move on from that phase of his life and acted in many other movies too.
