The latest Actor Brand Reputation Ranking for March, analyzed by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, has Cha Eun-woo as the leading figure, surpassing established names like Kim Soo-hyun and Choi Min-sik.
From February 20th, 2024, to March 30th, 2024, the institute meticulously examined a vast amount of brand big data encompassing 100 actors engaged in various platforms, including dramas, movies, and OTT content. Parameters such as consumers’ participation volume, media coverage, communication volume, and community engagement were scrutinized to gauge brand reputation.
Comparing the total big data figures for February and March, there was a notable increase of 13.15% in March, indicative of heightened public interest and engagement with the industry.
Taking the top spot in March’s ranking, Cha Eun-woo’s stellar performance in “Wonderful World” played a pivotal role in securing his position. His portrayal resonated deeply with audiences, solidifying his reputation as a versatile and compelling actor.
Following closely behind, Kim Soo-Hyun clinched the second spot with his noteworthy performance in “Queen of Tears,” showcasing his enduring appeal and acting prowess. Choi Min-sik secured the third position, garnering immense love from the public for his role in “Exhuma.”
The top 30 rankings also featured diverse talented actors, including Kim Go-Eun, Park Shin-Hye, Gong Yoo, and Lee Byung-hun, among others, highlighting the industry’s wealth of talent and diversity.
Director Koo Chang-hwan of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute shed light on the analysis, attributing Cha Eun-woo’s top ranking to his exceptional performance and the widespread acclaim garnered by “Wonderful World.” The rankings underscore the significance of actors’ performances and their impact on brand reputation within the entertainment industry.
