Central Park Season 2 Episode 13 Recap
Previously on Central Park Season 2, Owen was pretty excited to take the kids to see a Corpse Flower. The one that blooms every seven years and he wasn’t ready to miss it. Molly and Cole were pretty worried as this flower stinks when it blooms. Anyway, as they were almost ready to head outside. A call from Owen’s mother told her she is coming and in seconds she was at the door. The kids were happy to see her and invited her to see the Corpse Flower. Now this made Owen worried.
So, every time Owen was excited with a plan, his mother had intervened. She has a way of taking over the whole plan. Anyway, Owen decided to go with his kids and mother. On their way to, everything Owen was worried about came true. Owen’s mother did influence the kids and kind off begin derailing the plan not knowingly.

Owen managed to find fun with his mother when she encouraged him to tag along for Double Dutch. But due to that, they missed the time to see the flower blooming. This saw Owen venting out the frustration and telling her mother the truth.
The mother and son reconciled but they were late to visit and see the flower too. This saw Owen’s mother venting out her frustration on the security guard. Especially since Owen has to wait seven years to see the flower again. The guard made an exception today and let the family in as they finally witnessed the Corpse Flower.
Amidst all of this, Paige found her away from family writing a piece about free beauty stuff at Walford Hotel. But she wanted to work on her Bitsy story. Luckily Bitsy was at Walford Hotel too. So Paige spent time trying to take a snoop into Bitsy’s phone hoping to find if she has a connection with Mayor. She even tried to recruit Helen into her plan but Helen decided to stay loyal and take care of Bitsy.

The official synopsis of the episode suggests Cole may go through an embarrassing moment at school. After this, he doesn’t really want to go out anywhere. In fact, he is looking forward to completely changing his name and identity. In order to help him get over this, Owen, Paige, and Molly tell him their stories, probably the time they messed up.
