In the previous chapter of Carnephelia’s Curse is Never Ending, Carnephelia recovers and goes down to the Royal Palace Dungeon where her servants were being kept as prisoners. The servants are shocked to see Carnephelia and she says that they look as if they had seen a ghost but she is very much alive.

Trua greets Carnephelia with tears in her eyes and Carnephelia apologizes that Trua had to go through so much. Trua tells her that it is nothing but Carnephelia feels a twinge of guilt, wondering why Trua was so happy to see her even when she had used her.

The other servants were scared to see Carnephelia on the other hand and said that they wished for her speedy recovery as well. Carnephelia sarcastically asks if they were disappointed she had recovered already and quelled the servants protest by saying that they turned a blind eye when Evelyn was poisoning her in front of their own eyes.
