Hamburg scored their first goal in the previous episode, and the Japanese National Team and Wakabayashi’s performance was very disappointing.
Viewers are excited for Mr. Katagiri and Tsubasa’s meeting in Captain Tsubasa Season 2 Episode 3. The planned schedule for the training camp was ready. Mr. Mikami announced the selected members for the European membership. Everyone was cheering for them.
Mr Mikami informed Tsubasa that Mr. Katagiri had told him he should focus on his recovery and then join them for the international junior youth tournament in France.
Back in Germany, Kaltz went to meet his father, and he informed him he was heading to Munich. Kaltz’s father asked him if he was taking his sister and mother along with him. Kaltz told him he was going alone since his mother already had a job in Hamburg, so she was staying with Marie. Kaltz’s father noticed that he was still wearing the pendant.
Kaltz told him he gave that pendant as a gift on his seventh birthday. In the hope of seeing him become the greatest footballer, he even wore it during the time he used to play in the Bundesliga.
Kaltz’s father told him his mother gave him that pendant as a symbol of their engagement. So he was not very fond of that pendant anymore.
Captain Tsubasa Season 2 Episode 2 Recap
The Japanese National Junior Team went to Germany for the tournament. They went to check out the Hamburg training ground, and the players were amazed by the football pitches.
They could not believe that Wakabayashi had spent three years in such a great environment. Wakabayashi came to greet them; he met with Mr Mikami, and he mentioned that Wakabayashi had grown a lot in the past years.
They had also heard the stories about his great accomplishments in Germany, and everyone was very proud of him.
Wakabayashi’s friends told him they were excited to see him. Hyuga told Wakabayashi he had a goal beyond overcoming Tsubasa, which was to score a goal against him from outside the penalty area.
Wakabayashi told Hyuga what he already knew, which was that they could never win without Tsubasa on their team. Everyone was shocked after hearing that they were not expecting such a comment from Wakabayashi.
So when Wakabayashi told them they should do their best in their next game, Hyuga did not shake his hand with him; instead, he decided to leave.
Hyuga mentioned that he was looking forward to finding out how much he had grown as a player in Germany in the upcoming game.
Back in Japan, Tsubasa was practicing some light passing; his injury was healing very fast, so even the doctors were surprised by his quick recovery.
Everyone from Otome Middle High visited Tsubasa. The summer break was already very boring for them, so they decided to play football. Back in Germany, Kaltz informed his mother that he had met with his father.
He reminded his mother and sister that he was going to play his final game for Hamburg. He requested his mother come with Marie to watch his game.
Marie wanted to support his brother, but Kaltz’s mother was worried about what he talked about with his father. Kaltz informed his mother that he told his father to come to his game.
He even requested that his mother have a chat with his father for Marie’s and his sake. Kaltz’s mother told him she would not be able to come to his game because she had to work.
