Call It Love Episode 8 Recap (Spoilers)
Episode 8 of Call it Love begins with Woo-joo intoxicated sitting on a bench and reflecting on what she said to Jun and the consequences of it. She feels terrible about how she has treated him till now and even worse about the possibility that she might be in love with him.
As Ji-gu notices her on the bench outside Dong jin’s apartment he, asks him to take care of her, and Dong jin comes running. Dong-jin questions her about why she is sitting at the playground without calling him when she finally snaps out of her drunk state and sees his face.
He eventually walks her home, and she confides in him about her father’s extramarital affair and her long-lost archery career. In the end, she requests that he not like her and says that not doing so wouldn’t be a good idea. Woo-joo cries about their encounter as they separate ways, and Dong-jin too is sad about it.
The following day at work, Jun admits to Woo-joo that, because her mother never called, he decided not to tell her the truth. Dong-jin cancels the rental of the exhibition hall in the meanwhile and learns from the owner that Sung-man is in serious problems since he is unable to pay for the show he attempted to organise using Min-young’s fake investment promise.
The next day, she desperately tries to clear the air by telling him that she left him not just because of his mother but also because he became detached as soon as she brought up marriage. She is disappointed that he never stood up for her and that he was unresponsive to her worries. However, it turns out that Ji-gu was on the other side of the door and finds it pretty awkward to be in this situation.
The following day, Woo-joo informs the real estate agent that Dong-jin has to stop looking for them and that they are okay while Sung-man presses Min-young for information.
She also says she doesn’t want anything, even money, and that all she wants is for everyone to put the mess behind them and move on. Woo-joo and Dong-jin are still keeping their distance from one another at work, despite their developing affection for one another.
The episode ends with Dong-jin stopping Min-young outside of their building on his way home, telling her to cut back on her drinking. Min-young hugs him after being given a tiny bit of leeway. Sung-man, observing the situation in front of him, is furious seeing them together. Woo-joo intervenes just as he is ready to attack them and prevents him from interfering with them or harming Dong-jin.
