Calista Flockhart walked the red carpet for Feud: Capote vs. The Swans solo on Tuesday night, but she emphasizes that her husband, Harrison Ford, supports her in “so many ways.”
At 59, Flockhart, portraying Lee Radziwill in the TV series, graced the Museum of Modern Art in New York City adorned in a Zuhair Murad black and white floor-length dress, perfectly aligning with the night’s black and white theme.
Following Ford’s emotional speech at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards on Jan. 14, where the 81-year-old expressed gratitude to Flockhart for her “support,” she later walked the red carpet solo for the Feud premiere.
When questioned about Ford’s support, Flockhart reveals that he supports her in “so many ways,” emphasizing their mutual support, stating, “He supports me a lot. It’s a mutual thing.”
Ford and Flockhart enjoyed a glamorous night at the Apple TV+ Primetime Emmy Awards Party. The Supergirl alum donned a black pantsuit paired with a matching black sequin blazer, complemented by a navy clutch and the Buccellati earrings from the award ceremony. Ford, her husband, opted for a timeless black tuxedo with a matching black tie.
Experienced in award show date nights, the couple first crossed paths at the 59th Golden Globe Awards in 2002. After dating, they tied the knot in 2010, with Ford proposing during a family vacation a year earlier.
Prior to their relationship, Ford had two previous marriages and four children. Notably, he later adopted Flockhart’s son, Liam.
“I’m in love,” Ford expressed about Flockhart in a 2003 interview. Reflecting on romantic love, he shared, “Romantic love is one of the most exciting and fulfilling kinds of love, and I think there is potential for it at any stage of your life. I was not surprised that I was able to fall in love, and I wasn’t surprised that I did.”
“Feud: Capote vs. The Swans” serves as the follow-up season to the anthology series’ debut in 2017. Similar to “Bette and Joan,” this installment is rooted in real-life drama.
The FX trailer released on Wednesday depicts Capote (Tom Hollander) explosively disrupting his own social circle by penning an exposé on his influential and privileged friends. The elite society, known as the “Swans,” swiftly severs ties, placing a target on Capote’s back.
