Lee Byung Hun’s agency, BH Entertainment, provided an update following a burglary at the actor’s Los Angeles home last week. Despite the incident, the agency assured that no damage had occurred.
Burglary At Lee Byung Hun’s Home
Quoting a source, “It is true that there was a break-in at Lee Byung Hun’s home in the United States, but it has been confirmed that there was no damage.”
Recent reports detailed a burglary at Lee Byung Hun‘s Los Angeles residence. According to law enforcement, the intruder broke in through a sliding glass door while the Squid Game actor was reportedly away from home during the incident.
As reported, a staff member of Lee Byung Hun discovered his Los Angeles home ransacked last week. The thieves reportedly broke in by smashing a sliding glass door.
The source also quoted the police, stating, “This appears to be the act of one of the robbers who break into [houses in] wealthy areas around Los Angeles.” Reportedly, authorities don’t believe the actor was specifically targeted. As of now, no arrests have been made, and LAPD is actively investigating the matter.
Lena Waithe’s House Burglary
The incident occurred weeks after burglars targeted Master of None actor Lena Waithe’s house. TMZ reported a loss of $200,000 worth of jewelry after the burglars entered her West Hollywood mansion through a window.
Similarly, Lee Byung Hun, who was out of town during the break-in, is expected to return to LA soon. Reportedly, police will confirm any stolen items upon his return to identify his belongings in the house.
