As reported, the BTS star made an impressive entry onto the music streaming Daily Top Songs Chart, securing the seventh spot within the initial week of its release.
On March 17, BTS’ management company, Big Hit Music, disclosed that “FRI(END)S” garnered an impressive 4.728+ million streams on its debut day, propelling it to the seventh position on the latest global charts.
This milestone marked a significant achievement for V, the vocalist behind “FRI(END)S,” as Big Hit Music explained that his digital solo single surpassed his previous best-ranking single, “Love Me Again,” from his debut solo album, “Layover,” by three positions.
Moreover, the catchy and romantic track quickly gained international acclaim, dominating the iTunes Top Songs chart in approximately 87 countries, including the United States, within just 24 hours of its release.
The music video for this English-language track by the 29-year-old South Korean artist also surpassed 10 million views on YouTube. It quickly became a trending video in multiple countries on the platform.
