BTS Jin’s comments about K-pop idols debuting too young have Unfortunately become reality, and more is something we will be talking about today.
While K-Pop is now a rage, it is not just a fashion but also a saga that everyone wants to be a part of. Naturally, with all this ever-growing demand and craze about the K-Pop industry, so is the increasing demand for new talents.
We all know how the agencies are always trying to find new talents. As they choose the raw talents of these agencies, they later polish them and make them ready to shine in the future. However, with the increase in demand within the K-pop industry, there has been a rapid increase in the younger generation joining the group.
This, in return, takes away their freedom, teenage days, and proper education as well. They are not left with much time to socialize within their circle and end up being diagnosed with depression, sleeping disorders, and more. While training younger generations when they are really young has its own perks, likewise has its own set of cons as well.
While this topic has been much talked about and has been taken up on several occasions, a deep dive into the topic has been taken up into consideration. These young K-pop idols are also not mature enough at times to face the harder times and challenges they might face in the industry later.
With many ongoing problems like overworking, a lack of proper diet, or the pressure to look and behave a certain way that has always hovered over these young talents, how they have dealt with it in recent years is already there in front of us. This is another reason on why they should be properly trained or protected more from these situations.
BTS’s Jin Comments About K-Pop Idols on Debuting Too Young:
Before we go ahead any further, let us also take a quick look at who Jin is from BTS, what his comments were on younger idols entering the industry, and more. So Jin is a famous and globally recognized star. He is a member of the Boy band BTS. Well, clearly speaking, almost everybody has heard of the name BTS.
BTS is a boy band, which is one of the leading names responsible for the entire Korean wave that was brought globally.
Their music has broken several records and has surpassed its views up to billions, and is one of the most loved boy bands of all time. The group has a total of seven members: Jin, Suga, V, RM, Jimin, Jungkook, and Jhope.
Jin debuted along with BTS as one of the lead vocalists and went on to become one of the most loved singers of all time. He debuted at the age of 19–21 and hence has shattered all the stereotypes that call out that an idol has to debut young in order for them to be successful.
Showing his rising concern about the ongoing trends, Jin recently commented on a fan response on how he feels about the idols debuting too young.
He gave a straight answer, saying that he entered the industry when he was twenty years old and does think that kids these days are starting a bit too young.
This, in turn, started a debate online on what should a person do on such scenarios. As the initial years are often thought to be as the most productive years of all, and hence many agencies are often seen trying to audition the kids way too young. From debuting in the 20s to debuting in the late teens, the age has even further decreased to at a young age of twelve.
Most recently, idols like Seowon and more have started off their debut at the age of just twelve years, fourteen years respectively.
While many successful idols like Jin, Suga, Irene, Seulgi, and more are themselves examples of that age, is just a number, as they have shattered all the stereotypes and went on to become the greatest idols of their time.
With Jin’s reply to this important topic, more discussions have recently surfaced online, so what are your opinions on the K-Pop industry as a whole and what are your thoughts do lets us know.
