Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8 Episode 11 & 12: Release Date or Next Season?

Spoilers and Release Dates For Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8 Episode 11 & 12

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8 recently kind of called it off and we wonder if Episodes 11 & 12 are still on for it. Probably a new spin-off or a new season or is it really the end? Because the end of the previous episode did come with a big tease. Anyway, it was the last day for Amy and Holt at the Nine-Nine. So a final heist together was being organized by Jake. The only thing the precinct didn’t know was that it was Jake’s final day too. It was high time to be a family man and gone are the detective days.

So Jake made sure the final heist is as grand as it is. So the Grand Champion could be crowned. To make that possible, Terry joined in to help and create it in such a way that it will reminisce everyone of some memorable moments from the past eight years. This also saw many familiar faces returning to the show one last time including Pimento, Ted, Bill, and most importantly Gina Linetti. In the end, though, it was going to be one champion but goodbye for everyone. So here is a breakdown of the finale.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8 Episode 9 Recap

So it was Holt and Amy’s last day. Therefore Jake had planned that the precinct will have the last heist they ever had. Jake spent time waking everyone up except Amy and Holt who are already ready and charged. The winner of this heist will be crowned The Grand Champion. The big bag of loose teeth determined the teammates. It was Holt with Scully and Hitchcock, Rosa and Amy together, and lastly Jake and Charles together. Terry on his side will design the first half of the heist.

Events From Previous Episode That May Affect Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8 Episode 11 & 12

The only thing the nine-nine are missing in the heist is the fact that Amy and Jake are working together. Jake is planning to leave Nine-Nine. Amy and Jake spent time meddling to be there for Mac. It was high time for someone to take a backseat and Jake is opting to do so. The heist begins with Terry designing a scavenger hunt that is related to memorable moments of the past eight years. The first clue leads to a vending machine while the second to Jake’s former cellmate the Cannibal friend. The third is Madeline Wuntch’s grave and last to the place where Jake made a perp sing a song. The only problem is cleaner cleaned it.

So the Nine-Nine opted to call Terry who was in the middle of an interview for Captain. The clue leads them to the place where Holt and Kevin kissed for the first time. Holt uses his tattoo to distract everyone but someone else grabs the winning golden tube. Turns out Gina has made her return. As Gina takes away the tube, everyone has plans of their own to grab it back but everyone fails too. It takes Bill and Pimento to return for Jake and Charles and Rosa. But still, not everyone knows it’s all part of Jake and Amy’s plan.

Everyone is getting the golden tube. Meanwhile, Holt had to walk out from the heist leaving Scully in charge with Hitchcock on a video call. Terry found himself in trouble when he thought that the Captain interview was fake and part of the heist. It wasn’t and Holt is helping him to fix it. The episode closes with Charles finding Jake’s resignation.
