James learns from Chester that the bizarre occurrence is known as the “Sal-e Sparks” event in specialised internet chatrooms, in honour of the 1980s sitcom “Stepbot.”
The plot of the sitcom is a robotic engineer who has recently lost his wife creating an android wife to take care of his adopted children. The infiltration films’ purported source of inspiration is Sal-e Sparks. System analytic lifeform emulation is what “Sal-e” stands for. James thinks that the cassettes contain a secret message.
