The last chapter was pretty unexpected with Seongyun’s sword getting possessed by a weird guy and the holy war starting out of nowhere. The sword’s new ego seems to be pretty loud, which is totally different from Seongyun’s personality. The dynamic between the two could be really fun and we are hoping to see more of it.
In the last chapter, we got to learn more about Namgung Hyuk and his childhood. It was a bit sad when we got to know Hyuk’s back story and how his father treated him since he considered Hyuk to be a failure. Let us see how the Holy War progresses in Boundless Necromancer Chapter 69.
We were also introduced to a new character Reynel in the last few chapters and of course like any other female character of the manhwa, she will most probably form a crush on Seongyun. As most protagonists of action manhwas go, Seongyun will not care about Reynel’s feelings and she will be left a little heartbroken.
Hopefully, the author would try to incorporate a more meaningful relationship between the two since this trope of all female characters falling in love with the protagonist is getting a bit old. Since the Holy War has pretty much started, we will also get to see her in action in the next chapter.
Of course, his life completely changes when he accepts the invitation to a Tower where he finally begins to level up and get more skills. Recap
In the previous chapter of Boundless Necromancer, Seongyun finally gets some time to open up his stat window and sees that most of his stats have hit the double digit. He ended up gaining a lot of different powers in his last battle, which helped him level up considerably. Seongyun decides to organize those skills and opens them up.
However, he realizes that none of those skills are going to be effective right away but he decides to through with the skill synthesis since he had to do it anyway. When he chooses skill synthesis, a notification tells him that the hero’s blessing has been activated and his luck will rise exponentially.
The system asks him to choose an item for that skill and he chooses the True Blood Heaven’s Sword. We all were pretty excited to see what kind of personality the sword would acquire but in a hilarious turn of events, it turned out to be some weird martial arts expert’s ego.
Apparently, he was also a challenger and quite strong at that which was clear by his strong sense of pride. He goes away from people to be able to talk to the sword in peace, even though it kept blabbering on throughout it. Seongyun asks the sword a few questions and got to know that the person had actually climbed till 41 floors.
Suddenly, Reynel comes rushing over and informs Seongyun about the enemies that had appeared to kill the priests. Seongyun runs over to protect the priests and joins the holy war, all while saying some encouraging words to Reynel and ask for her help.
