Boruto Manga Chapter 80 Recap
We saw that Boruto and Kawaki swapped positions, which means that now Boruto is living as Kawaki and Kawaki as Boruto in everyone’s memories. All this was caused due to Elda’s power of “Shinjutsu Omnipotence”.
It is an ultimate power that is wielded by the almighty god. It is said that the power was used by god to create worlds. It’s a power that can make anything real as they want. Kawaki went through Elda to invoke Omnipotence which caused them to switch positions.
The whole world now thinks that Naruto was killed by Boruto, Except for Sarada and Sumire. But in reality, Naruto and Hinata were sealed by kawaki. All the shinobi of Konoha village are chasing Boruto to capture him. At the time, Sarada is a bit confused due to the sudden change of switching positions.
Sarada gets contacted by Sumire She tells Sarada that all this could be Elda doing cause this isn’t something that will happen under similar circumstances; it can only be done by something powerful like Shinjutsu. Sarada meets Sasuke and tries to convince him that Boruto isn’t guilty and that everyone is being duped.
Sarada’s Mangekyo Sharingan
In all this chaos, we finally get to Sarada’s Mangekyo Sharingan; it seems that she was able to awaken Mangekyo Sharingan through her concern and feelings for Boruto. She unlocked Mangekyo Sharingan while convincing Susuke that his memories have been changed and Boruto isn’t guilty.
It was enough to convince Susuke that Sarada was telling the truth by just looking at her eyes and the fact that she was his daughter.
Sasuke Helps Boruto
Seeking revenge for lord seventh, Shikadai, Inojin, and Cho-Cho try to attack Boruto so he cannot escape the village. Between all the chaos happening, Momoshiki Ohtsutsuki tries to gain control over Boruto’s body by falling into deeper despair.
In the middle of the fight with Shikadai and other, Sasuke arrives and rescue Boruto to escape the village. While there were escaping, Sasuke told Boruto that in his mind, Kawaki was the one who asked him to be his student, mastered Rasengan, and defeated Momoshiki alongside him.
They escaped to a place where the sensory unit couldn’t find them. Susuke also said that the headband which he gave to Kawaki (originally given to Boruto, but switching positions got things changed ) was on his head And that he sensed Momoshiki inside Boruto, who should be inside Kawaki.
Sasuke says that He may doubt himself, but he believes in his daughter so that he will help Boruto for the sake of Sadara.
Chapter 80 Conclusion.
Elda went to meet up with Boruto so she could apologize for her mistake. But Boruto knew that it wasn’t her fault; she didn’t know about her power. Elda promised that she would not interfere anymore and would not help Kawaki or Boruto.
The episode concludes with Boruto saying that he will train hard so that he can fight against Kawaki, Code standing on the top of Naruto’s stone face statue stating that Boruto will pay with his life for doing such crimes, and Kawaki saying that he will kill Boruto as long as he is an Ohtsutsuki.
