Boruto episode 68 was a tad bit disappointing. I don’t blame the show or anything but, the Momoshiki Arc is still lingering on my mind, and I’m pretty sure that I’m not the only one who feels let down by the Chocho arc. However, it isn’t bad or anything. It’s still a funny arc, and it was required to slow down things a notch. Before we go any further, I’d like to warn you that this post is full of spoilers; now, let’s begin with the spoilers.
In the previous episode, we saw Team 10 and Team 7 going the location of the shooting and seeing if everything was okay or not. They were met with a surprise as some mysterious ninjas attacked them. The ninjas were wearing gas masks to hide their faces. Due to this, the main actress gets injured, and Tomaru already has a replacement in mind.
The replacement is none other than Chocho Akimichi, and Chocho goes all doolally at this remark. Mind you; she’s slim from the side effect of using the Butterfly mode. The next episode of Boruto is titled, “Super Chocho’s Love Strife!!” The episode will focus on Chocho and her new crush, Tomaru.
In the episode, we will see Tomaru being kidnapped by the same ninjas who attacked the main actress in the previous episode. The ninjas demand a ransom to release Tomaru. Chocho is fuming at the Konoha Jounin for letting Tomaru getting kidnapped. The kidnappers have asked that the money should be paid by Ashina. However, Boruto and Shikadai feel that something off and they decide to investigate the saga.
Boruto episode 69 will be released on August 16, 2018. The episode will be available on Crunchyroll.
