Hitori Gotou is a high school girl who dreams of being in a band. She’s recently started learning to play the guitar, practicing every day in hopes of one day standing on stage and playing her heart out in front of a crowd. Despite her dreams, Hitori faces one big obstacle—she’s incredibly shy.
So shy that she hasn’t been able to make a single friend in school, let alone find people to form a band with. Her social anxiety holds her back, and she often wonders if she’ll ever be able to overcome it.
Despite her doubts, Hitori doesn’t give up on her guitar practice. She spends her time playing alone, watching videos online, and imagining what it might be like to be part of a real band. Just when she’s beginning to feel like her dream might be impossible, fate brings her a surprising opportunity.
One day, she meets Nijika Ijichi, an energetic and cheerful girl who happens to be a drummer. Nijika is looking for a new guitarist for her band, and when she hears about Hitori’s talent, she becomes interested.

Nijika approaches Hitori and invites her to play with the band, offering Hitori a chance she never thought she’d get. Through this unexpected friendship and her love of music, Hitori starts to break out of her shell. Her journey is just beginning, but now, with Nijika by her side, she feels like she might achieve her dream of performing on stage as part of a real band.
