Recap Of Bob Hearts Abishola Season 4 Episode 4
At Toesy Wosey’s, Christina is still thriving as a decisive and utterly adored employer. When a shy employee called Jared tells her he likes a memo she wrote; she is both thrilled that anyone reads it and so moved by Jared’s affection that she appoints herself as his new mentor. That evening, Jared walks up as Christina is dining alone in a nearby restaurant and feeling lonely. They converse about their personal experiences before passing out totally.
Christina initially states that the personal and professional don’t mix, but she ends up sleeping with him and discovers to her horror, that he lives at home with his mother before fleeing the scene (she later reveals Jared’s mom did make them delectable pancakes for breakfast).
After Jared makes his shot, he asks Christina if she wants to go home with him. Christina was in a good mood the next day until the HR department of the company phoned her. She apparently got fired after Jared accused her of “sexually coercing” a subordinate. When Christina arrives at the hospital intoxicated, Abishola, Kemi, and Gloria treat her unofficially.
Abishola sort of comforts Christina by saying that she has made mistakes and will make more but will emerge from them stronger than before as she bemoans her errors. Christina is grateful for this, and even the initially terrifying appearance of Dottie (called in by Abishola) changes into a genuinely sweet moment when Dottie offers her daughter her full support; she believes that employees who like each other should be allowed to have sex and even encouraged to do so, and she promises to assist Christina in getting back on track.
Abishola requests Bob to give her some space after growing tired of his continual attention and his participation in the margarita/hot tub/gossip session with her hospital friends. He answers by launching his new boat alongside Tunde on the lake, but because Bob didn’t carefully check the fuel gauge, they become stranded in a dry-tank vehicle. Bob acknowledges that he genuinely does want to be back at the office and help MaxDot succeed after Tunde’s gentle urging. After Tunde discovers a full gas can hidden beneath a seat cushion, Bob promises to do what makes him truly happy: work hard.
