Yoichi Isagi stood on the brink of glory, ready to score the goal that could take his high school soccer team to the nationals.
But in a split-second choice, he passed the ball to his teammate, changing the outcome. Faced with disappointment, Isagi wonders if he made the wrong move.
Returning home, he receives a surprising invitation from the Japan Football Union. He’s one of just 300 U-18 strikers chosen for Blue Lock, a controversial project.
The goal? To turn one of them into Japan’s future star striker. Despite ethical concerns, Isagi feels compelled to join. To succeed, they must compete in tough solo and team challenges.
Driven by determination, Isagi sets aside his doubts, ready to tackle both the on-field challenges and the moral questions ahead.
Recap
In Blue Lock Chapter 255, Charles tried to set up Ryusei Shidou for another goal chance. But Kunigami stopped the pass once again.
This made Isagi realize that Kunigami was still true to himself, sticking to his strong moral code. Isagi then suggested a triple-flow chemical reaction involving Kunigami and Hiori.
When Isagi saw this, he noticed that Kunigami was doing better since facing Shidou, and that Kunigami hadn’t really changed much.
So, Isagi suggested that Kunigami team up with him and Hiori to come up with a triple-flow chemical reaction.
If the ball gets to players like Raichi Jingo or Kiyora Jin from Bastard Munchen, Isagi might get a chance to start his attack.
Otherwise, in the next chapter, we might see Isagi trying to win the ball back from either Paris X Gen or the foreign players of Bastard Munchen.
Expectation
Blue Lock Chapter 256 will probably show Isagi starting his new attack with Hiori and Kunigami. But it all depends on who managed to grab the ball after Kunigami cleared it from Ryusei Shidou.
If Raichi Jingo or Kiyora Jin from Bastard Munchen get the ball, Isagi might start his attack. If not, the next chapter might focus on Isagi trying to steal the ball from either Paris X Gen or the foreign players of Bastard Munchen.
