Blue Lock Chapter 235 Spoiler & raw scan have now leaked on the internet, which shows Hiori betraying Isagi. Well, I guessed something like this would have happened since a player passing the ball in the egoist state can never. At least we haven’t seen like that in Blue Lock before.
All this time, Hiori was chanting that he was the key for Isagi to become the world’s best striker and that he could only see it. He even said that his ego was to make Isagi the best striker, and now that ego betrayed Isagi. Seeing Isagi’s face, I could tell how betrayed he felt (add this to the top 10 Blue Lock Betrayals, lol).
It wasn’t like Isagi was covered with many players, and because of that, Hiori scored a goal. Isagi did ask him for a pass many times by shouting. Well, Rather than explaining it here, let’s see what all happened in Blue Lock chapter 235.
Blue Lock Chapter 235 Spoilers & Raw Scans: The Meaning of Being Born!
The chapter starts with a monologue. Even with Isagi and Hiori’s combined attack, they still can’t reach the final goal! Weave your own future in this chaotic field!
In the last chapter, the ball went off flying. Hiroi says they were one step away from the goal, so something is missing! A Ubers play shouts, pick it up, the loose ball! Kunigami and Aryuu go to get the ball, and Aryuu beats Kunigami with a header.
Aiku was blocking Kaiser so that he couldn’t get near it. The ball flew towards Aiku and Kaiser. Isagi rushed forward before even Barou could have a chance. But Hiori got the ball. Isagi shouts, Hiori, One more!

Hiori Gets The Ball!
Hiroi thinks that If Isagi expects him to do it again, he’ll recreate it. One step beyond what he just imagined! He thinks he will create a new form of attack one step ahead of the future that Isagi predicts. However, Hiori reminded him of his parents.
Hiori’s dad tells him, that’s right, Go Yo! He tells Hiroi that the best in the world, right, the best in the world! His mom tells him that they believe in him (all these are Hiori’s hallucinations)
HIORI thinks that living up to “expectations,” he came to the Blue Lock because I hated that, but now he’s trying to meet Isagi’s “expectations!” Isagi shouts for a pass, but Hiori doesn’t listen to him.

Ego Tells Hiori to Shoot!
Hiori thinks that he doesn’t hate Isagi’s expectations. Then, out of the blue, he remembered Ego. Ego tells him, “Shoot it. That’s what a striker does, right? Hiori understood what he was trying to say. Hiori’s monologue, “I see, this is Blue Lock… The last thing that’s missing… is my shoot?”
Hiori was hesitating, whereas Isagi was holding off Aiku. Isagi once again calls out for Hiori. Hiori gets a thought that it would be right to shoot since Isagi had brought him this far. Isagi again asks for a pass, and Ego tells him to shoot (Hiori’s hallucinations).

Hiori doesn’t Listen to Isagi’s Calls!
He thinks about which future should he choose. Then Hiori remembered what Karasu had told him in the past. Karasu had told him to expect himself what makes him excited; that’s the only way anything will start for him.
We then see Hiori thinking about it. Hiori thinks he hasn’t made any choices up until now. He has been running away from his future by blaming his parents for that way. He won’t get hurt, and because he is afraid that if he no longer has a reason to play soccer, no one will love him anymore, and he will be empty.

Hiori Betrays Isagi!
He thinks of himself as a pathetic human being, pretending to be cool and how long he will keep running away. He tells himself to stop living on someone else’s expectations as an excuse. If it makes him feel empty, so be it.
If He were really born to play soccer, this shot would become the future. Hiori unexpectedly shot for a goal. Isagi was shocked to see that. Even Aiku and Lorenzo didn’t believe it. However, Sendo managed to stop it.

HIORI monologue, “What the hell, I guess I wasn’t born to play soccer.” Despite the failed goal, it seems like Isagi saw something. Isagi says, ”Nice, Hiori, I found it. The super theory for victory.” Isagi senses a new chance of victory in Hiori’s unsuccessful shot!
