Blue Lock Chapter 231 will finally see Hiori join the field and help Isagi with the goal he needs to win the match. The last goal of the match will be of chief importance for Isagi as he is no longer the center of the stage. And his spotlight was stolen by none other than Barou, who now sits at the top of Blue Lock.
It was pretty clear from the starting chapters of the series that the Blue Lock will not be about Football. It was going to be (and still is) character ego and how they develop it through the sport. The one that developed the most of it is none other than Isagi and his achievements that brought Blue Lock to the forefront.
There are also signs that the characters appeared as being too ingrained in winning. It’s a good thing we have Thorfin and his life’s journey to show the side of acceptance and moving on. Because in a world where only Blue Lock is popular, it will be kind of a weird world and setting a standard that won’t be achieved by most of the series.
Blue Lock Chapter 230 Recap
Blue Lock Chapter 230 had everyone in reverie with Barou’s goal. Barou’s goal not only made him the most popular among everyone who was watching but also made him come above Isagi. Barou finally got to have his revenge on Isagi for that one match earlier in the series, which pushed Barou to grow.
Truth be told if Barou hadn’t come this far, if he hadn’t grown at that point in the story. And even at that time, he realized how vital it was for him to learn that lesson. But his ego had also grown, and he had the goal of overthrowing Isagi since that day, and he achieved it with a full team on his side.
However, Isagi was not happy with this one bit and wanted to do something about it. He couldn’t live with himself after being done like that, he wanted to retaliate, and Noa’s time was up. Moreover, Isagi’s support was also out due to his injuries, and the only one who could help him achieve that vision was Hiori.

Blue Lock Chapter 231 Spoilers
Blue Lock Chapter 231 will see Hiori finding his ego after a long journey in the story. His side of the story is one where the sportsmanship was pushed onto him, and all he could do was hate it. He couldn’t rebel against his parents as he seemed to be the type that doesn’t like confrontation. And he repressed his frustration all these years in life.
That frustration may finally come out and express itself. Hiori will be one of the wild cards for the Ubers to deal with, as they will be going against someone skilled enough to keep up with them.
Not only that, he will also help Isagi expand his vision of the goal and smell a goal (something that he hasn’t said in a while). Then there will be another jumble where one of them will reach the zone and make a goal, but that wouldn’t be in the next chapter.
